This page explains what information CrossArm collects when you use this site or subscribe to VIP, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you subscribe to VIP, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We receive from Stripe:

Your email address
Confirmation that payment succeeded or failed, and your subscription status
A Stripe customer and subscription ID (used to look up your billing status — we don't see or store your full card number, which Stripe alone handles)

If you join the VIP Discord, Discord separately collects your Discord username and any information covered by Discord's own Privacy Policy, which we don't control.

If you use the contact form on this site, we collect the name, email, and message you submit.

What we don't collect

We never see or store your card number, CVC, or billing address digits — that data goes directly to Stripe and never touches our server. We don't use tracking pixels, ad networks, or sell any data to third parties.

How we use it

To grant and maintain your VIP Discord access
To send you receipts and billing-related emails (via Stripe)
To respond if you contact us
To send occasional updates about CrossArm's development, if you're a VIP member (you can opt out any time by cancelling or emailing us)

Who we share it with

We use the following processors to run this service:

Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Discord — community server hosting. See Discord's Privacy Policy.

We don't sell or rent your personal data to anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep billing and email records for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period after cancellation for accounting and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your contact information at any time by emailing us, subject to what we're legally required to retain (e.g. transaction records).

Your rights

If you're in the UK or EU, you have rights under UK GDPR / EU GDPR to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to how it's processed. To exercise any of these, email hello@crossarm.example.

Cookies

This site uses only the essential cookies Stripe Checkout needs to process payment securely. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies at this time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the project develops. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
