These Terms govern your use of the CrossArm website and the CrossArm VIP Discord subscription ("VIP", "the Service"). By subscribing to VIP or otherwise using this site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't subscribe or use the site.
CrossArm is a wearable camera boom rig currently in development. It has not launched and is not currently available for purchase. Specifications, renders, timelines, and features described on this site are subject to change as the engineering process continues.
VIP is a recurring $5 USD/month subscription that gives you access to a private Discord server. Members can expect build logs, prototype updates, input on design decisions through polls and threads, a tutorial library as it's produced, and priority access during the founders window when CrossArm launches.
VIP membership is not a pre-order, deposit, or reservation for physical CrossArm hardware. It does not guarantee that CrossArm will ship, ship by any particular date, or ship in any particular configuration. Purchasing the physical product, when available, will be a separate transaction.
VIP is billed monthly at $5 USD through Stripe, starting on the date you subscribe and recurring every month on that date until you cancel. Your founders price is locked for as long as your subscription stays active without a billing gap; if you cancel and resubscribe later, you'll be charged whatever the current price is at that time.
Payments are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for details.
You can cancel anytime through the link in your Stripe receipt email, or by emailing us at the address below and we'll cancel it for you. Cancelling stops future billing; you keep VIP access until the end of the period you already paid for. There's no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
Access to the VIP Discord server is tied to your active subscription and is also subject to the server's own community rules, posted in the Discord itself, and to Discord's own Terms of Service. We can remove members from the server for conduct that violates server rules or Discord's terms, independent of subscription status. Removal for conduct violations does not entitle you to a refund.
We're a small pre-launch project. Features of VIP (channels, perks, format) may change as we figure out what's useful. We'll try to give members notice of material changes through the Discord server itself.
The website and VIP Discord access are provided "as is." We don't guarantee the site or Discord service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Discord itself is a third-party platform we don't control.
To the extent permitted by law, CrossArm and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or VIP subscription. Our total liability for any claim relating to VIP is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms as the project develops. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and we'll flag significant changes in the VIP Discord.
